Biotium 5(6)-CARBOXYRhodamine 110-C5-Maleimide (
CR110-C5-maleimide (full name: 5(6)-Carboxyrhodamine 110-C5-maleimide) is a maleimide derivative of the green fluorescent dye carboxyrhodamine 110. The dye has spectral properties (Ex/Em (MeOH) = 502/524 nm) similar to those of fluorescein (fluorescein-5-maleimide, for example), but the photostability of the dye is among the best of all green fluorescent dyes. Thus, the dye is a superior green fluorescent dye for labeling thiols. Biotium Tyramide Amplification Kit with HRP Streptavidin and CF543 Tyramide
Tyramide amplification, sometimes called Catalyzed Reporter Deposition (CARD), is an enzyme-mediated detection method that uses the catalytic activity of horseradish peroxidase (HRP) to generate high density labeling of a target protein or nucleic acid sequence in situ. The tyramide amplification method has been reported to increase the sensitivity by up to 100-fold compared to the conventional avidin-biotinylated complex procedure. The kit contains HRP goat anti-mouse CF543 dye tyramide. The dye has an excitation/emission of 541/560 nm. The kit contains sufficient reagent for 50-150 slides.
Biotium MemBrite™ Fix 488/515 Cell Surface Staining Kit, 500 Reactions
MemBrite™ Fix Cell Surface Staining Kits are designed for covalently staining the surface of live cells to conveniently visualize cell boundaries in immunofluorescence experiments. MemBrite™ Fix are new covalent cell surface stains that react irreversibly with cell surface proteins for staining that can withstand formaldehyde or alcohol fixation, and detergent permeabilization. Unlike lectins such as WGA, which bind specific targets that may vary between cell types, MemBrite™ Fix dyes react widely with cell surface proteins. MemBrite™ Fix staining is rapid and non-toxic to cells, and because MemBrite™ Fix dyes are highly water soluble, they stain cells much more evenly than traditional lipophilic membrane dyes like DiO, DiI, PKH, Vybrant, or CellMask™. This kit has reagents sufficient for 500 labeling reactions. The kit contains 5 vials of MemBrite™ Fix 488/515. Each vial is sufficient for 20 uL of 1000X dye after DMSO reconstitution.
Biotium CF488A, Aminooxy
Aminooxy dyes have an aminooxy reactive group, which can be used to label a target molecule with an aldehyde or ketone group. An aminooxy group readily reacts with an aldehyde or ketone group to form a stable linkage without the use of a reducing agent. CF dyes are Biotium's line of next-generation fluorescent dyes with advantages in brightness, photostability, and conjugate specificity compared to other fluorescent dyes. Green fluorescent CF488A dye has excitation/emission at 490/515 nm.

6-ROX, SE is the other purified single isomer of 5(6)-ROX, SE. 6-ROX is predominately used for labeling nucleotides and sequencing nucleic acids. Compared to other rhodamines, ROX is very unstable.
